Hello!

Hello! I'm Yutaro Konishi, a second-year high school student at Tokyo Gakugei University International Secondary School. I'm purely Japanese, but I've been living overseas for 10 years and actually don't have much experience in Japan. By coming to Japan and actively participating in volunteer activities, I was able to obtain "something" that I could not obtain from a part-time job or other activities involving money. It is a connection between people. In Japanese, the encounter between people is said to be "one red thread", but what I want to aim for is "many thick ropes". My goal is to connect with as many people as possible!

story

I have been involved in various volunteer activities such as running festivals and holding lectures. Currently, I am preparing for a group project called "Nerima Bingo", a cycling and walking event held at Shakujii Park.

I started volunteering when I was not yet 10 years old. At that time, I was living in Australia due to family reasons. So I did a fundraiser at a shopping mall. I still remember how difficult it was because I was too nervous to call. After that, I have accumulated various experiences overseas, such as doing activities for the poor.

Even now as a high school student, I have been involved in organizing festivals and participating in activities such as opening study room events and holding lectures at community centers.
